SarcoidosisUK are to be the proud hosts of my first feature-length documentary, The iD Project, which premieres in April 2019. The iD Project is a film inspired by my father, Richard Etienne Snr., who sadly passed away from sarcoidosis in 2004. All proceeds from the ticket sales and donations collected on the night will be gifted to SarcoidosisUK and the Dominica Relief Fund. I am proud to announce that I have been appointed as a Trustee at charity SarcoidosisUK. Since my father passed away from heart failure as a result of sarcoidosis in 2004, I have been using my filming experience and industry contacts to raise awareness and share the stories of the often overlooked community of sarcoidosis sufferers. So to be a board member of the only UK charity exclusively providing information and support to anyone affected by sarcoidosis is a huge honour.
